Yes sir. That is the same type 10 bolt rear that I have in my 72.

did u find out the resolution to your brake problem,i still say its the booster.have fun and enjoy ur camaro.

All of the above, sounds like the power booster, try plugging off the vacum hose to your booster, a 3/8" bolt usually works good and see how the pedal feels, don't drive like this it could be dangerous. Does the pedal feel the same with engine running as apposed to not, are you getting vacum to the power booster?

i have been back out at the camaro now that the weather aint so bad,,
bleed the brakes ok and still nothing,, i have power brakes and when i press the pedal down i can hear a hissing in the car, would that suggest that the booster is bad,, should i just replace it

I had the same problem before first thing is check the fluid level.then check to see if the vacume line is connected to the brake booster it should go from the booster to the back of the carb make sure its not leaking air and if thats good get a friend to help you bleed the brakes pump it ten times and hold then open the bleeder till the pedal goes down then close the bleeder repeat for all 4 start with back passenger side then back driver side then front passenger then driver front if it still dont get better you might have to replace booster

have blead the brakes,,no air in the system at all,, as i say there is a hissing noise when i press the brake pedal,, the vacume is connected to the carb and it isnt leaking either so its gotta be the booster rite???

Yes sir.. the hissing is the booster blown or dry rotted on the inside. Replace that bad boy.

ok so i ordered a 9" booster few days ago,, the guy just emailed me to say that they where out of stock and cannot get them again but he has 7" booster,, would this work ok on the camaro

The 7" booster is great, and a better choice to get a little more engine clearance. I would get it.
