Default rear drum brakes to disk brakes

I recently purchased a 96 camaro V6. as u know it comes with rear drums. CAN anyone help me figure out how can I swap it to rear disk. Any information will be greatly appreciated. My Formula Firebird has rear slotted rotors and for you race fans rims with calipers and rotors look great but rims with drums, not so great. Like I said any information will be greatly appreciated and Thanks.

its way easyer to just buy a whole rear end for $200 bucks and swap them out. its straight forward and you would have posi then also.

Default 95 camaro

I did the rear end swap to disc but I unfortunately stepped down to a 2.23 gears 😐 . I have had nothing but problems with getting the rear brakes to grab. I have replaced hoses and copper washers on both sides, new brake lines to the center block (no kinks), a new center block mount, and new line from the block back to the abs module. I have good pressure and no air pockets when I bleed them. I've been told to shim the back pads?? They grab slightly but it looked uneven and I'm going through pads on my front slotted rotors. What might be a good solution?

i thought the master cylinder had to be changed to. maybe thats just for switching to the double pistion disk brakes.

I think I will have too but what would be a good one to go with? I haven't found an aftermarket that isn't exactly the same as what I have.

looked it up and shows only one style for 93-97 so different mc is for the switch to the double piston. what caliper are you using? the stock rears are not the best and wont grab like the hub brakes

Yes they are the stock ones and they are the same as what they put on the corvette. With all the conversions that have already been done someone should have fabricated something that works but just have to find it. I do plan on upgrading all the calipers (not willwood tho) and rotors to kno i can stop when i need too.
