bolts for headliner trim?

Default bolts for headliner trim?

does anybody know what size screws/bolts are used to mount the front and back headliner trim/moldings in late 2nd gen's?

Not me! I didn't even know the trim was screwed in on later 2nd Gens. My '71 just taps on to a lip above the windows.

If your talking about the ones at the edges near the glass. Their self tapping screws about one inch.

i mean the ones near the rear window and front windshield

Most trim screws are #8 oval head phillps. Parkrose Hardware has a great stock of automotive chrome trim screws. 105th and Sandy in Portland. I got a ton of them there for my car.

just fitted mine up today countersunk screws 30mm long 4mm diameter inch screws are too short

Yes, they screw into the slits. Look closely at those slits and you'll most likely see where a screw once was. The slit is there to allow for adjustment and side to side alignment. That way you don't have to try and hit a single tiny hole you can't see.
