Default Steering Coulmn

Does anyone by chance have the steering wheel off their car? And if so, could you tell me about what size the nut that holds the steering wheel on is?
Tomorrow I am picking up a 77 camaro I bought a couple of weeks ago while deployed.
I'm pretty sure the guy I bought it from doesn't have keys...I think (in retrospect) that I may have bought it from an impound/towing storage area.
I know I'll have to take off the steering wheel to get at the ignition, so I can steer it onto the trailer.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

The nut should be 13/16 ths but you'll also need a steering wheel puller and a tool to compress the cover plate beneath the wheel on the steering shaft to remove a lock ring on the shaft to remove said cover plate to get to the ignition. Oh and you''ll need a philips screwdriver to remove the horn parts before you can pull the wheel.

Probably be easier to pull the steering arm and turn the tires by hand as you pull the car onto the trailer. At least you'll only need a socket set and a pickle fork. Or just take a pair of dollies and put them under the front tires. Get it lined up with the trailer and then take the dollies off and load it up.

Thanks for the info guys. I didn't remember steering wheels had so many moving parts behind them. I'm hoping the gentleman I purchased it from has a set of keys, I've talked to him twice, and forgot to ask (what an idiot, huh?).
I should have it home tonight, I'll post up some pics. This is the first project car I've had in about 15 yrs. I'm super stoked. Today should be an adventure.
