Another step closer!
Thanks Heartbeat jr! I love finding bargain parts for the old Camaro, or building them when ever I can. Lets me do more under the budget! I'll post some more pics once I get the new parts under the hood and dressed up!
You got some good deals. Now that it's warming up i need to start going to the flea markets and see if any parts turn up,otherwise i will wait until this summer when the super chevy show comes to columbus, they usually have a pretty big swap meet/vendor section.
man we dont even have a super chevy show the biggest thing down here is the world of wheels we dont even have that many cruise nights u gotta look for them all the ones down here are for those cars with 87 inch wheels and they cant actually appreciate classic muscle
Cruise season will be starting soon here. May starts the scheduled cruises, but casual cruises are already going.
Made a few steps forward and a few back today. Can't use the new brake booster, so it will go back to my friend who sold it to me. Hope he appreciates all the cleaning and hammered paint I sprayed for him! It fit the Camaro fine, but the new valve covers don't clear the passenger side heater hoses. Hoses are too tight against the taller valve covers, and I'm afraid if the engine torques it will break something!
I did get the old valve covers off, cleaned up, new gaskets, and adjusted the lifters while I had it apart. Plus I cleaned up my old booster while it was off and repainted it with gray hammered paint too. Got my new Accel red plug wires on also, and took her for a "test drive". Ran good before, and can't tell much difference with Accels over the Taylors I had before, but the red looks nice.
All in all it was still a good day, and now I've got some big block valve covers to sell!

OK! I'll take some pics and post them. Wish I could make them work, but I don't want to rework the heater box. Wish the booster would have workd too. It was the exact same bolt pattern, and smaller diameter, but the operating rod was wrong on both the brake pedal side, and the master cylinder side. Just too mcuh to make it do.
Pablo, here's a few pics of the chrome tall valve covers:
