Thanks to a member over on another Camaro forum I received the missing top right trim piece for my rear wondow chrome on my '71 Camaro! So I polished everything up today and got it all snapped in place.
Been running around with all the exterior done except that back window trim, so it's nice to get this last piece completed!
My next step is to either replace the front seats with some racing buckets, or recover the originals again. They're in pretty decent shape, but have a few wear spots on the driver's side where I've forgotten wrenches or tools when I jumped in after doing some repairs.
I see NPD seems to have the best price on repro seat covers, but still only a bit less than new Recaro style racing seats. Need to call them and see what brand of covers they're selling.

Yea, I wont go with real Recaro seats, but knockoff seats. There's a ton of them on Fleabay, and I just need to do some work to figure out which brands and sellers are most reliable.

 

My paint sure reflects the garage door overhead!

 

I still haven't put my rear trim on my car, LOL. I'm not planning on it either until I get it painted. I only have one set of rear trim and I don't want to risk damaging it putting it on now only to have to take it back off for paint. I have three sets of front so I have the worst one on the car for now. Yours look great Vall. Nice shine on the paint also. What do you have to do beside seats?

 

Well the only things I really have to do are the seats, reinstall door panels, and install the poly suspension bushings. But....I've got a long list of other things I'm planning to do as I save money, or sell some things from my other hobby to fund them.
I want to change out the dash insert and build or buy a custom dash panel. Want to change the pulleys to billet and heim joint setup. Want a little more chrome under the hood. And I'm sure I'll think of more as I go along!
After 37 yrs of owning it, I never will really finish it for good I hope!

Yea those are very nice, but not sure I could lay them back with my rollbar, as they're pretty wide. I like the Sportsman series a bit better, and they would probably work better with my rollbar and 5 pt. harnesses.
