Hello

I am new to the group and I am hoping for some help. I am looking at 67 396 but the trim tab and the vin just seems to verify that it is a V8 4spd but It does NOT seem to say it is a 396. My question is; Is it possible to have a 396 in it and it not be on the trim tag? If so which 396 should it be? The production date seems to indicate it could be one but I do not want to pay what the guy is asking if it is a clone.

I would think that if it's not in the VIN or trim tag then Chevy didn't put it in the car. However, I don't know the first gens as well as second's but try here:
