Default New Carb

I have a 396 with a mild cam, solid lifters and a performer manifold. I'm currently running a Holley 750 double pumper. I need to replace the current carb and wanted to know if anyone had a suggestion on what size and make? I use the car as a weekend getaway, but I really enjoy the HP!

The 750 is a solid carb, Is there a problem, maybe just a rebuild is in order.

How much do you think it would cost me to have the 750 rebuilt? I could try it myself but from what I hear it can be pretty tricky.

You could buy a rebuild kit forabout $35-$40 and some carb cleaner if you think it will help for $10. Carburetors are not tobe afraid of and most rebuild kits give you instructions on the teardown and rebuilding carbs. As long as you follow the instructions you can't go wrong.
