Default M21 Front Case Replacement

I haven't removed my trans yet, just preparing myself I guess. I have an oil leak front the front and if its the cluster pin, how hard is it to replace the front case? Meaning just unbolt and comes apart or hella technical? My fingers are crossed its just the gasket up front. Its not matching numbers. Thanks in advance.

It is most likely the front bearing retainer gasket. 4 bolts hold the retainer on the front of the trans.

The leak MAY be from the clustershaft hole as it is leaking, this would mean the case hole has been enlarged, by power from engine and hole is enlarged.
However, I have stopped the leak by removing the trans, cleaning the area of shaft support with BraKleen®, push the shaft to the rear, and fill the void with black RTV, and let cure overnight.
Then install trans, after cleaning bellhousing, and life goes on. No more leakage.

Thank you for the information, i will have to remove it either way. I will replace the gasket and fill the hole as mentioned.
