Default camaro trans leak

1969 camaro, Hurst 4 speed. Do not know the model of the trans. But the car has not really been drove for 2 years, shifts fine, but today there is some oil leaking from the trans. I cannot tell if it is comming from the front or the back. But it smells like gear lube, like a rear end. Is this from the car sitting. Hope it is just a seal at the drive shaft. Hope it does not cost to much. Thanks, Jerod

clean it up and see if u can locate the source of the leak. at least get a general area. let us know what u find. front seal should come out the clutch cover area.

Seals tend to dry out and shrink a little from sitting idle. It's possible that once you start driving the car again keeping the seals lubed, the leak could stop.
