Default I want a new tranny

I have recently found time to work on my '68 RS, and have been out of the loop for a long time. It has a balanced/blueprinted 350, last time I drove it, was running a Holley 650 on an Edelbrock manifold. It has been in storage for years, in pieces, tyranny is missing (3 speed manual) and I would like to update. It used to be pretty quick, would prefer a good four speed, even better a 5 speed. Would like a bolt on option, but am pretty ignorant. Any help would be appreciated.

Last price I saw advertised for that ^ trans was $3,495.
Another option, for $100 more, is a TKO 600 conversion kit: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/a...w/model/camaro

For less than a grand you could put a four speed Muncie in there.

I'm on 4- speed boat also, are you drinving cross country? That be a lot cheaper and easier. You aren't making crazy power ,a 700r4 be nice option also, and it's super low first gear pulls hard.

Why not a TH200-4R?
Driveshaft does not have to be cut and it fits.
