C-Clip Eliminator on 67 RS
Members,
I am in the process of helping my son rebuild his 67. While tearing down the rear end we determined that the rear end had a C-Clip eliminator kit installed.
What is the easiest approach to recover from this?
We have ordered a set of 4-Wheel Disks and I have been told that the eliminator kit is not compatable. And the car is planned to be just a weekend touring car.

Nice looking '67 Camaro.
You will need to get, at least, another housing and two good used/new axles.
The second instruction on the sheet states to cut off the axle tube just behind the axle bearing leaving about 1/16"-3/32" outward past the backing plate flange boss.
The third instruction states to cut off the axle C-clip groove flush with the spline taper.
You can install an eleven inch drum brakes.
