got my rag joint eliminator in today
Any thoughtful insight on these to share? Did it go in easy, good for street car etc??

So, I take it you're looking forward to feeling every little jolt and vibration that will now be able to transfer up to your steering wheel? At least you'll have a better "feel of the road", literally.

I am a little curious as to why you would go this route vs upgrading your rack to a LS1 close ratio rack? They can be had used for 80-100 and they come with a factory U-joint system not the rag joint. I have a 93 Z I am working on and I had my eye on a 02 rack with 20K on it Asking price $100
How does LS1 shaft get rid of the play and dampen the road shock? Guess I'm trying to find the balance of response and still being a semi-comfortable street car.

Besides being a close ratio rack (tighter) the fatory shaft looks like this (no rag joint)
