weird brake light problem

Default weird brake light problem
If I use my right turn signal my left brake light stops working. Using my left turn makes the left brake light start working again.
Help!

Look into the steering colum wiring for the turn signals. that was my problem I had to replace the hole turn signal wiring system on the colum

make sure all the bulbs are grounding, ground in the older cars is common fail that leaves the flow of electricity looking for a ground and can so some strange stuff.
