Default thinking of takeing my 68 in another direction!! thoughts???

well i have a fresh 388 and a edle. x-c8 crossram intake and a set of hooker headers and sidepipes, so im thinking all the above on my 68 would be extremmly old school!! Im not looking to be the fastest guy at the track or the newest concept at the auto show but i like my stuff different than everything else!!!
here are some pics of intake and when it was in my 69 back in 88 and the rest of the stuff so what do you all think yeah or nay???

I don't know if I'm digging that whole dual carb in the air thing!
If you did go that route, I would get a different hood and hack that one up and keep your present one aside. Or, are you thinking about a high rise cowl hood to keep the carbs stuffed under?
I remember you mentioned the sidepipes in a previous post. I had the same kind on a previous 69. Really liked them, but my legs didn't. I got burned more than once while getting out.
Oops, gotta keep your wits about you, they do get awfully damn hot!

No sh** Sherlock, if you got it flaunt it. That's why I don't even want to put a hood on mine at all. Maybe I could get a clear lexan hood made.
I haven't been able to find anybody who can do that though.
