69 is cortez silver and 72 is hugger orange, of course you know that already. It could have been painted in its life. I have never heard of a cowl tag being wrong, I have heard however, of cowl tags not being original. It is very possible that a PO switched the plate.

 

I have pics of the car but I think there to big. Can any one help.
