Hello, my name is Jason, I am 22. I have been reading info on this site for a month or two but finally joined a day or two ago. I live in sanford, MI. I searched for a nice camaro for at least a month. I came across a Z28 that I came close to getting until I found out it had a rebuilt title-didn't want it now. I also came across another Z28 with less than 40,000 miles with a 6 speed for $3,000-then owner moved it to Rhode island so it was no longer an option. Finally, I found a 99 with a clean carfax with very minor damage reported for $4,800, I gave the guy $4,400. This was my first first camaro, bought it in april of 2009, it is my third car. It is a red 1999 RS with a 5 speed manual transmission. It had less than 88,000 miles when I got it-now has about 90,000. It mas many upgrades such as halo projector headlights, B&M shift ****, 18" Z06 Corvette wheels all around, Raptor tires. Also has an SLP cold-air intake and K&N filter and much more. Thanks. I think I got a good deal. I've seen same year camaros with 100,000 miles for sale asking $5,000. I have gotten comments from people in town when I stop to get gas or go shopping. The only work I have to done to it is audio-new headunit/all speakers replaced/4 channel alpine amp/14 gauge wire to the four front speakers and an iPod connector.
