new carb. which one should i get?

i have the holley carb double pumper and i think i'm going to get a new one... some people have have suggested edelbrock or demon... which specificone do u think is best for me? i have a 67 RS 327 with 3/4 cam

3/4 cam,man thats old school words...anyway id say quickform 650 dbl pump is definatly the best for you...

need more info before anyone can tell. most people think a biiger cardb is always better, especially those "3/4 cam" people [sm=roll.gif]

seriously though, compression, heads, cam, exhaust, all that decides what carb you should get. unless your 327 is pretty stout, you don't even need a double pumper

Most 327's can take a stupid amount of beating before throwing in the towel and on my 327 ('69 in a '68) I have a 4bbl, 625 Edelbrock and I have yet to tune it since it has been in.I've had it for 5 or 6 years and no problems. I think the Demon carbs are a little over-rated and require a little more attention. For the daily driver I would go with the Edelbrock but the Demons seem to be more for track use. I wouldn't go above 700 unless you want to use a ton of gas or you are racing, but thats me, I have to drive about 50 miles a day =\

But I agree that around a 650 would be a good, reliable carb to go with.
