Is it rare to have factory houndstooth in a 68? Also, how do I tell if its a real SS or not.

I know the 68's dont have it on the cowl but it has power steering, power brakes, multi leaf rear, houndstooth, no gauges it was a 70% complete car.

And how can I tell if it was a 4 spd originally? Wil there be a hole in the firewall?

 

The only question that I can answer is about the houndstooth and its not even a great answer. But I always thought that the Houndstooth was a rare option.

 

Got any pictures? I have never heard weatherhoundstooth interior wasrare or not.
