Any Tricks on Removing Wipers on 69?
Wiper arms from the spindle is a trick. There is a tool for this removal, a body shop may let you borrow one.
The tool has a 'U' fitting about the back of the arm on spindle, opposite of the arm and pries the arm off.
The other way is use a flat blade screwdriver, prefer a 1/4 inch flat, and place it under the end opposite of the arm, just enough to fit the lip of the cup.
Now, with all your might, pry up on the flat end/shank quickly.
You should lay a blanket across the hood as both your hands will be bust, one holding the handle, the other about an inch away from the arm. You will have so much force, when arm slides off, the arm will fly across the garage/driveway.
The driprail comes off with a church key, round end. Use the key and pry off under the trim the short piece connecting the front w/shield trim and rail trim.
Pry out the bottom, then trim lifts up for removal.
Forgot to mention, measure everything to a reference point for reassembly. Ensure wipers are properly 'parked' before installing arms. Good luck.

Wow, one person out of 134 views has pulled their wipers? I guess most here do not work on their cars.
Anyway, thanks Everett for your response. I was able to get the wipers off using channel locks and a towel.
