Default 69 Fiberglass Cowl induction hood

Hi, does anybody make a fiberglass cowl induction hood with the 2 inch rise in the center like the steel hood. Everyone seems to have the steel hood, but can't find a fiberglass hood that uses the factory hardware, hinges
Thank You
Charles

Have you Checked with Harwood .Glastek ,VFN for your hood? You can use your factory hinges .etc. But will heed to use their springs .

Yes Harwood makes one, pretty sure VFN only has the high rise version. FYI, go to Home Depot and get yourself some lightweight springs and save yourself a bundle of money. The only thing special about the springs "made" for the fiberglass hood is the high price.

Unlimited Fiberglas, back in the '80's, don't know if still in business.
I used wraps of wire around the hinge to hold hood open. stainless safety wire is great. Make a couple wraps around the hinge at the tab.

I have had a Unlimited hood back in the 1980`s and the quality had a lot to be desired .Do you have any "speed shops" in your area they might have a sample .Or a local Camaro Club as well.
