Default 327 Small/Large Journal

Got a question - I know that 1968 was the year GM changed the 327 from a small journal to a large journal crank. I got a 68', but engine made in late 67'. Does anyone know if they made that change based on the year of the car or year car was made. Also, I was told you can tell the difference by looking at the back of the crank, but not sure. Anyone know what I have.

I believe '67 was the last of the small,if you have a bolt on balancer it's most likely large.
