i have a 1967 camero conv,factory 4sd/macthing number 327/325.but i never heard of a 327 haveing 325 horse in a camaro.

i want to know if that moter can be from the factory,cause it is macthing a numbers car.its just the 325 horse is confusing me,

In 67 the published hp for the 327 is 275. I am inclined to think that if it is the original engine for that car it might be a Z-28 with a 327 block, 289 crank and a net ci of 302. I could be wrong though.

 

I agree. No 327 with that HP from factory, unless you are talking about a 327 block and 289 crank making it a 302 Z28 Engine.
