Default OBD Not Ready?

Hey Gang,
I have an odd question, I have a 2014 LT2 coupe, I bought this car new, it doesn't get driven a lot the car has 37K miles, it's up for emissions, so I shined it up and took off to get it done. Shock the tech at emissions told me he was not able to test the car due to the OBD not ready.... this is the first time I've ever herd this, he gave me an entire sequence of things to do to get the computer ready, am I getting punked or is this a real thing? can anyone assist with how to resolve this.

I was able to get it figured out buy doing a simple internet search, after starting the car letting it run for 2 minutes, then driving @ 55 MPH for 3 min, coasting to 20 MPH then running @ 60 MPH for 4 mins, then coast to 20. repeating the sequence several times over a few days, the car passed. I hope that info helps the next person that has this issue.

That's interesting, wonder what made the car lose it's readiness. Did the battery go dead, or did you have any error codes recently cleared?
