Computer Disconnected
Took my '95 maro 3.4to autozone some days ago, asked for the free test/scan, the guy connected his scanner to the outlet above the gas pedal, and his scanner read "No connection" or somethin along those lines. He did it 2 more times, same thing.
Any clue as to what could be causing this and how Imight be able tofix it myself?

RE: Computer Disconnected
As was explained many times before:
The 95 and some late 94 GM cars use an OBDI computer, but have an OBDII diagnostic connector. In order to scan these cars you need an OBDI scanner and an adapter to connect to the OBDII style connector. Most shops that offer free scans are only equipped to do straight OBDII scans. Search in the computer section to see how to make up an OBDI to OBDII adapter
