I don't know where you got that at, a th350 will handle more power then 350,in the same way a th400 will

I meant to say it is rated to 350 torque foot pounds. and the 400 is 400 foot pounds.. But torque and horsepower derive from the engine and there is a direct correlation between horsepower and torque.. You can build up a 350 some places do but the 400 is usually the better base choice. I am just observing and looking for your best interest. I got that information from Chevrolet... I don't know if you are trying to hit a HP Number or if the guy building it for you has stated a number but you can also get a dyno sheet that would help take the guess work out of it for you..
