carguy, why would you put an ss against the cobra and not a Z? same freaking car, the SS just has a little higher drag because of the scoop and wing

dez, wtf man? I dont care what youve seen, the TA is not a faster car. its heavier with the same exact powerplant. use ur head......

carguy, i would put my money on a terminator in a cobra/ls1 race. its the smart bet. once again, i dont care what you have seen. weve all seen stuff that shouldnt have happened. but the smart money is on the cobra, which btw, is not worthless up high........ im not sure who thought that... its supercharged, its not going to run out of juice due to a crappy torque curve.

the 98 style cobra, with its 300 +/- hp was pretty much on par with the lt1 camaro. low 14s all day. the 99-02 style cobra would walk an lt1. Those cars are pretty easily in the high 13s and respond pretty well to mods. 4v heads ftw. sorry if you guys dont like it, but the cobra has done a good job of keeping pace, and eventually beating us (even though we technically didnt exist in 03...)

good thing the GT has always been such a dog

The SC cobra has a very strong power curve and will kill a LS1 stock for stock. Keep in mind the 32valve SC will run high 12s all day long. Stock for stock the cobra wins hands down.

SS vs WS6 is a drivers race since they are the same freaking car

SS/WS6 vs Z28/formula is also a drivers race yes the SS and WS6 come with some good gear but in the 1/4 its not a huge advantage.

Early 4 valve cobra's did not suffer from the issue's that plagued the 2 valve. 32 valve NA cobra is more then a match for a LT1 of course it was a little bit late and by that time the LS1 was terrorizing mustangs every where.

For all GT's being dog's in the late 80s 5.0s where not bad for there time. Yes they are slow to today's standers but the 93 and older 302 FI's where tanks and not a bad engine in its time.

And yes i am sorry to say but i think you can safe to say your page has been jacked [>:]
