ya funny thing about that is that i have a 92 vr 4 and a 96 z28. and id say that my vr 4 most definitly could take my camaro off the line. However my camaro would tear my vr 4 in half from a roll. I dont know why u guys are talking about base camaros and 3000gt sl's, because the bottom line is that they pretty much just look cool and dont perform at all.

hmmm maybe you cant read so let me break it down for ya Nic "A normally aspirated version went into base and midrange models, developing 222 horsepower (218 in '97)." The "218 hp" engine is in reference to the SL or mid range model. Read down a lil from that and youll see this ... "For 1997, a new base model carried a 161-horsepower V6 with a single-overhead camshaft. " so how exactly is this not confirmed by my source? wheres the website from your source? I've posted up two different sites that say the exact same thing and you still cant seem to understand so maybe this cleared it up for you ... but doubtful damn camaro drivers [:@]
beautiful there sir again I stated that my source was MSNautos.com waaaay back a while ago.
again if im not going to drill into your head that just becuse sombody says somthing on a forum does not make it true. lets assume its true the fact is the 222 horse power 3000gt is still going to lose to a 3.8 camaro....nuff said
