it may be ur altitude or track conditions. if everythign is as it should be you can hit 14.0 as long as you get a 2.0 60'

My LT1 would have easily been in the low 14's stock if I were at sea level (the first time I ever ran it I had the mods listed in the sig...). With what I have, and at 5280 ft (highest elevation track in the NHRA) I ran a 14.7, at sea level that's around a 13.8. You should be able to run at least mid 14's stock if you're at sea level. If you're not at sea level check the NHRA website and they give conversion figures for different altitude tracks.

THE TRACK IS 778ftABOVE SEA LEVEL. MY 93 ONLY HAS A K&N AND 97K MILES. PROBABLY HAS THEORIGINAL PLUGS AND WIRES ON IT.DO YALL GOT ANY TIPSSO WHEN I GO TO THE TRACK I CAN HAVE A LIL ADVANTAGE? IF I FLOOR IT I BURNOUT FOR LIKE 4-6 SECONDS. MY NIEGHBORS 97 TRANS AM FELT FASTER FROM 100-120 BUT COULDNT PULL LIKE MINE FROM A STOP OR BURNOUT LIKE MINE.

please stop shouting [&o]
any car in which you are a passenger will feel faster than if you were driving it. if hes stock your car will actually be faster since its the same motor with more weight (unless year difference will play a factor here....)

dont burn out. you will lose that time on ur slip

if ur auto hold both the brake and the gas and get the car to the point just before the tires will start spinning. then on your launch release the brake and put down the gas simultaneously. you shouldnt spin much. if you do go get some drag radials

Pert neer tooks mi Camara to the track jess the otha day an was fixin ta runer but eyes gots a tad bit of a ol leakin an eye coodn't run-er. Dag nab it!! Sorry dude just being a jack ***! Since you just got it and don't know if it's been tuned up in a while I would get that done first. You'll lose a lot from a poorly running engine. Get a little maintinence done and then try it again and let us know how it goes.
