Default killed an honda accord and mitsubishi 3000gt

well on my way to work yesterday i get stop at this light an this 2006honda accord is at the light with me. so light turns green and the honda just takes off gets like two car lengthon me so i take off after him an pass him an get like three cars on him. then he gets behind me i guess embrassed or what not an stay there until he turns off. then im cruising an see this 3000gt not sure what year the headlights was the flip up kind. the me and the 3000gtwas riding side by doing 40mph then all of a sudden he takes gets like a car length on me. he was driving a stick. so i catch up with side by side again an just cruse with him until he trys it again. so i catch up with him again just toying with him. until we get to a light together. man i tell you we both took off at the light. he got the first jump being that it was stick then after i hit 40mph i had car length on him by the time i shut dont at 90mph i had like three car length on him. i was wandering what does cars pack. i know a little about them because my friend had one an thoght it was the fastest car in world. i have seen the vr4 3000gt i think they have like 325hp something like that. any have anyone race an vr4 3000gt before. how well will an LT1 hold up or even an ls1.

The vr4s did, but the regular 3000gt's did not....you will probably be seeing more NON-vr4 3000gts is my guess.

3000gts make good power, but seriously need to go on a diet. They weigh around 4000 pounds or something.

A well running lt1/good driver will beat a stock 3000gt, and it's not even close with an ls1.

it's funny cuz stealth/3kgt's look like such nimble/tiny cars, but they weigh as much as a tank. and from what i understand, the non turbo'ed ones, are ****, even though they still make like 250HP. they are just way underpowered and have ****ty gearing i guess?

The none turbo 3000GT is on the fat side for a NA car however the VR4 picks up a good bit of fat from its AWD drive train and the turbo's. The car tips the scales at 3760 lbs making it about 400 lbs heaver then a T-top LS1. 91-93 where rated a 300 to the crank but have a fair amount of power lost in the drive train. Wheel horse's are down in the mid 250ish range. 94 the VR4 steeped it up a bit to 320 HP and 315 torgue. The VR4 is a good stock for stock match VS a LT1 car and can pull low 14 second passes. The LS1 will put down around 300 horses to the ground stock and will pull low 13 second stock. From a roll the LS1 will eat the VR4 alive.

this is what you could be dealing with

Base

SL

VR-4

Standard Engine
3.0L 161 hp V6
3.0L 218 hp V6
3.0L 320 hp V6

Horsepower
161 @ 5500 RPM
218 @ 6000 RPM
320 @ 6000 RPM

Torque (lb-ft)
185 @ 4000 RPM
205 @ 4500 RPM
315 @ 2500 RPM

and as stated by others there heavey so Base and SL are going to be in the 3.8s range as far as the VR-4 its not gonna blow the LT1 away its gonna be darn close if you convince him to run from a low roll is were you best shot is LS1 take out the VR-4 without to much trouble my opinion
