1 . here some more info .. not "opinion based"
"
Powertrain Options and Availability All 3000GTs from 1991 to 1996 used a 3.0-liter V6 engine with dual-overhead camshafts. A normally aspirated version went into base and midrange models, developing 222 horsepower (218 in '97). The hottest model, the VR-4, got a twin-turbo rendition that made 300 horsepower (increased to 320 for 1994). The VR-4 could only be equipped with 5-speed manual shift (6-speed manual, starting in 1993). Other 3000GTs might have the optional 4-speed automatic transmission. For 1997, a new base model carried a 161-horsepower V6 with a single-overhead camshaft. "

ah 5 some pages later we get a actual sorce.... and lists 218 which you say is 97 but again is not confirmed by your source either way id still pick a 3.8 V6 camaro to win that race the 3000gt has 20ish more horse and the camaro has 20ish more torque but as stated teh 3000Gt is a boat with wheels.... bummer....

RE: killed an honda accord and mitsubishi 3000gt
hmmm maybe you cant read so let me break it down for ya Nic "A normally aspirated version went into base and midrange models, developing 222 horsepower (218 in '97)." The "218 hp" engine is in reference to the SL or mid range model. Read down a lil from that and youll see this ... "For 1997, a new base model carried a 161-horsepower V6 with a single-overhead camshaft. " so how exactly is this not confirmed by my source? wheres the website from your source? I've posted up two different sites that say the exact same thing and you still cant seem to understand so maybe this cleared it up for you ... but doubtful damn camaro drivers [:@]
