There is nothing wrong with the V6 F-body. This is even stronger when you talk about the 4th gens and the 3800 series. For its time and what it was made for they are not bad cars at all.

4 grand huh? yeah ok, i got my z28 for 8,000 in a no name lot. when i look in the papers a SS goes for 20k. i dont know where you get your 4k at. my 95 3.4 was 3750.

10,000? yeah some of us are simple folks buy what we can afford. a camaro is a camaro, be it a 6 or a 8. i dont poke fun of a car just because its not a v8.

and im selling my 98 ss 62,xxx miles all the mods in the sig, a pop up dvd/cd player, and some other stuff. for 14k. a ss for 20 grand .... um maybe if it had 10,xxx miles. im saying anyone can afford a v8 if they want it, i was 19 and had a 95z28 and my 98 ss and could afford both so (and had a 87 gmc sierra with lift and tires).. i worked full time but i still had 2 camaros. i was just messing with the v6's, if a gang of 6'ers did that it would have been totally gay. i love camaros so dont get me wrong and ive turned many pple into buying f-bodys. so dont think im trying to pick on v6'ers i was just messing with them.

 

we got or 98 sixxer for three grand,but we are now looking for a ls1,we would have got a ls1 but we didnt think they got as good MPG,but no we do know.but this sixxer is in no way slow,it has beat it's share of ricers. oh and i not hatting on you 98ss4real,i'm just saying.

 

no hating taken lol im just saying anybody can afford a v8 and on my trip down to texas my ss got 28 mpg all the way and even now with mods and gears i get 22mpg all day on the high way, and if ur looking for a ls1 ,im selling mine for 14k

 

well theres were your wrong i cant afford 14grand and even if i could it would all go into my 73.

 

if a lt1 or ls1 was for sell for 4k or under. their is something wrong with them. i looked at a 96/5 trans am 6k really couldnt shift gears without powerarming. come to find out the odo been ****ed with.

i paid 3750 for my 3.4 ( traded in so my mom could have a car ) after i was driving it home i seen 2 gt's for almost the same price 2/300 +. if go by the engine to price, a half used ls1 should be between 10 to 18+. also it depends on the city.


what would it a matter if 6's rode in a pack? never know what they are packing. stock for stock 3.8 wise they will rape about anything that is thrown into their playground.
