LT1's are not slow by any means and don't let no one tell that they are. They are not as fast as an LS but with some work and some good mods you'll have a screamer!! LT's defended the Camaro/Chevy name before and it still has fangs even with all the new engines out there. Good luck and let us know how it goes!!
