You car should win this race pretty easily. But you could lose if you have not made certain your car is well servied, well tuned, with clean air filters, etc., etc, i.e., good ignition wires, good plugs, new fuel filter, no crap caught up in the intake (amazing how many guys have leaves andsuch crap crammed up in their air box this time of year), and good tires, and you have practiced a good launch. LT1s are so torquey and so tolerant of abuse that they drive well and feel good even when neglected and abused to the point they are down on power by 15%. So get your car in good condition, and assume the other guy has done so, too, and is taking the race seriouslyYou might be able to win without doing all that but would you ever live it down it you got beat by a Camry? Don't take the chance.
