i berly fix my lt1 camaro and i already have people on my back this guys started talking smack about my camaro he wants to go heads up with my camaro i heard this car is fast this and that what you guys think?

 

A camry is not a race car he is a wanna be. It is newer but that doesn't give him much of an advantage. He is lighter so he will beat you on take off but you got too much torque and hp compared to him you will beat him in the 1/2 mile for sure.

First off, the 3.5L V6Camry SE weighs almost 3500lbs. the XLE weighs over 3500lbs. a 95 Z28 is slightly lighter. The 3.5L V6 has 268hp and 248ftlbs of tq. The Z28 has more horsepower AND torque. The Z28 runs a faster 1/4 mile and 0-60time. If his car is stock and your car is stock im going to say you will take him. If he has a fair bit of work done im going to say drivers race.

 

I thought the new camry can run low 14s. that would make things interesting. I would still give it to the lt1 though

Dude you're worred about a Camry??? That mentality what you should expect froma ricer. Tell him that mommy needs her car and he should get it home before he gets grounded. Tell him to come at you when he gets a REAL race car.

Its not light but its got a considerable amount of horsepower for a non-performance 4door sedan.... imho you should ask him why he wasted money on modifying a Camry... a family sedan... He could have atleast bought a coupe or something worth moding.. I mean they go for what 20k?... seriously..
