Hiss...just for future reference the STi doesn't lose much through the AWD. they don't use a t-case , the trans has the front diff. built right in. the 6 Spd they use is based off the TKO 6 spd just with a diff built in. they have axle stubs that come out of the trans and that's where the front axles attach and then a output shaft just like the normal TKO trans. the only significate weigh increase is the weigh if the diff (about 30 lbs) and the weight of the front axles. the STi also has aluminum fenders and an aluminum hood to help offset the weight. they don't lose as much through the drivetrain as a 700R does.....
