Default subaru vs 94 z28 jajaja

well just nailed a subaru twice and was very pleased... we went on 2 gear at 40mph and smoked his ***, unexpected win i might add since he said that it was at 14 psi, it was also the "bug eyes" subaru wrx made into an STi, he was impressed[8D]

A WRX can not be made into a STI with out heavy work.... It can be made just as fast with very mild upgrades but still not a STI. At 14 PSI that is not a super mild boost setting on even a stock WRX.

Still a good kill. The WRX from a dig may have given you a little more of a run but a good kill none the less.

(no offense to you) I'd say he has a bad driver mod. On the good note, driver is most of the race and you won either way, but a 14 PSI WRX should be in the mid to high 13's at worst (if he can drive). I also agree with CBR, unless he's got a lot of work into it, it's not an STi, not to mention the STi didn't even exist in the USDM until 2004 (the generation after the Bug-eye).

I think you mean low to mid 14's. 14 PSI is the stock boost level on the 04 WRX.

Gah, sorry about that. I have a buddy that has a WRX motor in his GC8 and he's in the low 14's at altitude, so at least high 13's at sea level. On the other hand, the GC8 is lighter than the newer gen body style, so you're right, low 14's.
