my 98 cost me 9.5, and that was about right with all blue book values. good luck finding one for 6. could happen, but dont pretend thats the norm
When I was looking for cars at the beggining of the summer I could have picked up a WS6 with 92k miles for 7.5 (That was at a dealer as well). Instead i went with my camaro with 104 for 5.5. 12 grand you could probably pick one up with 40-50k miles.

And to whoever the guy was telling me to look my **** up, do this. Go into a dealership and tell the guy you will buy a brand new 08 GT for 25 grand out the door, and then don't post again after he laughs in your face. Your looking at low 30's at best if your financing, and mid 30's the norm. Were we talking about a used 2007?... no. We are talking about a NEW, hint the title, NEW, mustang. Don't bring points that are irrelevant to the discussion, it just makes you look like more of an idiot. Unless you have 28-29k cash to spend, your paying low to mid-30's for that car. Add another 6-7k onto that if your getting a convertible.
Eh, thats exactly what I did. $24,5XX out the door. Chill - it's not that big of a deal anyways.
ya, wasnt talking to you, sorry. That armynatguard that felt the need to call me a fanboi because he can get a used 07 gt for 25 grand or something that really had no relevance to anything said up to that point. He doesn't what hes talking about, and i've learned that those kind of people aren't worth talking to. So anyways, cbr, he was saying the gt runs a quarter mile in the low 30's lol

Uhh....ok n00b let me put your original post back in here.

The MSRP on the 08's is what, like 29k? The dealers still jack that price up a couple grand. Then your looking at a ****ty *** interest rate with taxes and all the licensing fees, etc. I'm sure most people buying them now end up paying about 35 grand when all is said and done.

Sorry bud, but someone CAN pick up an 08 brand new right off the lot GT for 25 grand out the door. NOT 35 grand. You're off by 10k, come back and talk when you read a little more

Yes, all the dealerships are selling new 08 gt's with interest, taxes, licensing fees etc., for 2 grand under the msrp on the car. Do you even know how a dealership works? Let alone, are you old enough to even buy a car? You called me a n00b, what are you...12? Wouldn't surprise me. Look kid, leave this forum for the people that actually know a thing or two about cars

Nessy and Armynat, play nice, there's no reason to take it to the level of insulting someones age and therefore their maturity level. Nessy, this forum is for members of all ages to learn and talk about all different types of cars. I think it's pretty obvious that Armynat can purchase cars since he has two of them. You guys can debate over this etc. but keep the tone and language friendly and informative, don't let it degrade or this will get locked.

Sorry slvr, but can someone back me up on this?

Dude, 08's are going for dirt cheap because of the time of year/economic situation. They're trying to get rid of 08's to make room for the 09's.

Fact 1. You said they were 29k msrp.
Fact 2. You said after markup and dealership, misc etc fees they would be 35k.
Fact 3. You also stated "I'm sure most people buying them now end up paying about 35 grand when all is said and done"

I merely stated you can buy an 08 GT for 25k out the door.

Here...a 2008 Mustang GT with33 miles on it. What's the buy it now price again? 21,730 ??? Hmm? Can't read that price? Here ... 21,730

But...but....

Oh wait, I forgot. Add 95 bucks for a title/doc fee. Hmm 21,825

Yep I'd say that's a little less than 35k.................

Sorry for calling you a fanboi, that wasn't nice....but dude seriously. Admit when you're wrong or gtfo

Yeah, no to step on your toes Nessy but I have agree with armynatguard. The only way you are paying 35k for a new mustang is if it is fully loaded or you are a completemoron.

Besides, who the fck cares??? Now that I have seen the pricing on the 2010 Camaro I am really pissed. I cant believe how cheap they are! Ford has got some serious trouble coming!

+1, pricing on the new Camaro is wicked. I'll probably get one in 2011 or 2012

Yeah. My youngest boy is service manager at a big Ford dealership. $25k gets you a nice GT if you know how to pick the car and negotiate the price: dealerships are sort of desperate right now. Probably if you picked carefully and fought hard, $24K would not surprise me.

agreed that a new GT isn't 40k unless your a retard and pay that much. and you wont be getting a
T/A for 6 grand. not unless it's an LT1 or a beat to hell LS1. and deff not a ws6.
9.5 will get you a 70k+ mi ls1 f body. at least around these parts (trust me, Ive looked. HARD)
