BasicConcepts JDM Prelude build thread
Yeah cops don't help ever my dads friend had his car stollen when he lived in Philly. One day he was walking down the road a few blocks from his apartment and he found his car parked in someone's driveway. Great police work there.
Actually this section is for general projects that don't fall into the various Camaro generations. It's not a Camaro based project section, so this is where anything that's NOT a Camaro goes.
You might notice my Austin gasser project is ALSO not a Camaro, and that's why it got moved from the 2nd gen forum to here when the forum was rearranged.
I'm not an import fan either, but I kinda like my Austin import, and glad they made a section for off topic cars here.

well i lost my job at oreillys, i failed a drug test lol anyways the LS1 is probably going to be put on hold until i get another actual job (im still doing my own car work for now)
today i noticed the passenger side window doesnt work so i pulled the door panel to diagnose, the motor is shot
while i had the panel off i decided i really hate that the carpeting on it has a green hue to it so i went out and got some carpet dye. before:
for some reason in the first pic the flash went off thats why it looks so crappy

after:

A little but I brushed it with a wire brush when it was dry to try and break up some of the fibers. Its still not as soft as it was before but better than without brushing.
As far as studding, i only had about an hour between the interview and taking the test (also found out about the interview the morning of the test). I drank like ¾ of a gallon of water and took a complex b vitamin (helps to keep your pee from diluting) and went to the bathroom 5 times before i got there but still failed. I talked to the doc she said i just barely failed, which is pretty good because i smoked way more than anyone needs to smoke the night before

^stupid a$$..... LOL Proves to show that you should stay away from the green. Unless you're at a stop light of course. Then the next 1/4 mile of street automatically becomes a drag strip!

did the carpet have a rough feel after you died it? I'm thinking about die for a couple of stains in the jeep. Looks good though.
