'63 Falcon project
I finished up the wiring tonight after working from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on it. I also cut in my old turnsignal lamps up front, and then tested everything. Found some problems, but they were all caused by corrosion in the factory sockets, or bad lamps. After cleaning and new lamps all the lights worked. Ignition has power, but I wasn't able to bump the starter. Seems my ignition switch in the donor '95 Camaro column is no good. I tried everything, and it has power in, but no voltage out. I'll pull it tomorrow, and make sure it's bad. Autozone has them for $15, so I'll grab one and see if it fixes the issue. Stupid Camaro switch!
Might get to start it this week yet!

I am such a dope. I put the new ignition sw. on the column today, and still wouldn't turn the starter. After pulling the old sw. apart to see how the contacts make up, I realised I had two wires transposed when I pinned the new connector! Swapped the hot with one accessory wire and it worked fine. So it seems the Camaro switch is smarter than the guy doing the wiring!
Got the gauges hooked up, and gauge panel back in. Still have to dress the wires down under the dash and hood. Also have to get chrome filler plugs for empty holes in the lower dash, and plugs for some firewall holes. Goofed off this morning and spent half a day with old friends at lunch.
Have just a few small things on my "to do" list and I can do the cam breakin!

Thanks Dalton!
Started making up my list of things to do, and realised I had a big one I left out! No gas pedal or throttle cable! Ran over to Oreilly's and got a Mr Gasket throttle cable, but then the fun began. The area where I had cut a recess for the gas pedal didn't have a flat firewall! I had to bend and weld up my pedal, and then cut a hole at an angle to weld a piece of tubing in, so the cable end would have a surface perpendicular to the pedal for the nut to tighten on. Made it from heavy .5" stock, with .5" pivot point. SHould take many hard mashes! Took most the day to fab this stupid thing, and install it; plus the cable. Had to build a cable bracket also, as nothing off the shelf will work with my setup. Gave it a shot of rattle can chrome, and it's ready to go.

After the pedal I had a little time left, so I got the edging that's bent 1/4" to 110 degrees, and fitted it to the hood opening, so the raw edge wont keep catching my gloves or the old sheet I have on the motor. Had to cut about an inch out of the two 90 degree corners to allow it to bend and then make up fillers to weld back in on the corners. Just tacked for now, but it came out OK, and stiffened up the tilt frontend too. It gives the opening a raised lip also, to look better.

That looks great, I hate it when I see a cut hood that hasnt been "finished". All in all, that thing has come a long way in a very short time man... awesome work. I cant wait to go for a ride!
It may happen today! Just need to install plugs and plug wires, then one 1/2" plug in a head and it's ready to fire.
It's alive! At least after some monkeying around. The cheap swap meet MSD I got was no good. I'll have to send it off for rebuild to MSD. Had to wire around it to just use the coil to run the Mallory Unilite.
Anyway, here's a short video. My wife said, "it's obnoxiously loud", but the video doesn't seem bad to me! It grabs rpm's like a SBC! Can't believe how torquey it is!
