have seen a few setups that run carb/turbo/intake thay were all the rage over here in the 1980s no intercooler but water injection was an option the most common kits were for inline holden sixs there are a few local v8s running suck threw setups for burnout comps (cheaper option than boost refrencing your carb) but thay all seem very tempramental the principle is no different than carbs on top of a 671 but heat becomes the problem vaporises the fuel

A suck through setup is when the carb is upstream of the turbo. So the carb doesnt see any boost.

Im not sure about this one. I could be wrong but i dont think dumping fuel into a turbo would be a good idea.

if your trying to do some sort of different turbo setup ..the only option i can think of is sts rear mounted turbo setups...turbos mounted on the exhaust

It works just fine, I have a buddy that is running a setup like that in his VW Bug, a Baja type nonetheless, it will beat a stock (new) Corvette in the 1/4 mile.

You can suck fuel through a turbo.
