a buddy of mine was telling me about an electric supercharger, i had never heard of one in my life, but i looked up some and they say you can gain like 25 hp from them for only like 100 bucks, and you cant even get 10 hardly from 400 in exhaust, i didnt know if these things were the real deal or not, so has anybody heard or even tried such a thing??

 

there is a reason people run with mechanical forced induction. the little plastic fan cant actually spin fast enough to keep up with the air being sucked in by a naturally aspirated motor. you actually lose hp with those things, its been shown on a dyno [&:]

 

just remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. bang for buck, the cheapest and easiest horsepower is nitrous. electric superchargers are basically a cooling fac from a computer. DO NOT BUY ONE!

they are trash, but can keep you cool if you plug it into the cigar lighter in your car, try that
