Question 305 Single or dual tubo?

Hello i am new to the forum which is great so far. I am about to pull the factory 305 carb motor out of my 86 Z28 adn do a full rebuild on it new everything. I am wanting todo a twin turbo kit. My question is should i do a single or dual or a remote turbo setup? do they make a remote turbo setup for the 3rd gen? Or should a buy a universal kit and just do a lil fabing to make it wrk? Any input will be greatly appreciated THX from NW Florida

Well...305 is the first question...Why?
Single turbo is cheaper,I like my twins as it just looks nice...My build was all custom made,im not sure about kits, but if your close to me I can hook you up with many people here to help you...Remote kit in the rear would work too,you just may need a oil pump to pump it back to the pan, thats what im putting on my v6 work van...

If your doing a 305 to trick people then I would go remote with the turbo, but who can tell a 305 from a 350 by looking? Id build a 350 at minimum...It will need all good internals and why waste big money on a 305?

Heck you can find a 350 4 bolt main block for $100-$200,if you look...

For a remote turbo, I would much prefer a single. The piping is already ridiculous to remote mount a turbo. But then to double it seems kinda dumb, when you can get the same performance from a single that flows twice as much.

It would be kinda cool to have a 305 making tons of power though.

There is nothing cheap about boosting our cars. You might want to consider your budget as its going to get expensive. Im not trying to knock on the 305 or any thing but if you might want to do some research on this before you get started as its going to be a very expensive project.
