Supersize me!... Err Supercharge me!

Supersize me!... Err Supercharge me!
As you may or may not know, I have recently come into possession of a sweet looking and performing automatic Z28. I was days away from buying a Jaguar XKR but the price was right on this so it won. One thing that I miss is the near demonic scream of the supercharger and the growl of the kitty as the car accelerates down the highway.
I don't need or really want the most powerful race car ever. I just want the scream of the supercharger to go along with the growl and some of the extra power to go with it.
I've been considering my options with this and I feel I need a supercharger. Unfortunately there isn't too much information on here for supercharging an LT1. I've read SpecterGT's sticky about modifications and this is where I stand.
A K&N Cold Air Intake has been added.
A magnaflow exhaust has been installed.
It is a Y-pipe.
Can't tell about the headers. Look stock to me.
Not going to bother with the MAF or Throttle Body.
I'm not worried about AC, EGR or accessory deletes.
Again, not looking to race or evade the police so I don't think I need to do too much with the rear end.
I've been able to find some manufacturers for supercharges, but only two that seem to work for Camaros: Vortech and Procharger.
There's also a thread that deals with compression ratio but I can't seem to find it right now.
My buddy and I are able to install it in his garage. It's just a matter of making sure the engine is ready and finding the best deal on a supercharger.
Please advise.
Thanks
Jared
