I have a 94' 3.4 V6 , could I supercharge it ?
How hard would it be to do ?
How much power would it have and how much would it cost to do it ?

You can supercharge it. I'm going to say it would be hard for you. Power depends on setup.

Good Luck On Supercharging a 3.4

The main problem is that the window cowl is in the way of putting in a supercharger...
I would Highly recommend spending the money that you would spend on attempting that on a 3x00 top end swap
3400 upper and lower intake plenum ,3400 pistons and the high flow Aluminum heads that are found on the Grand am Gt (which shave nearly 50 lbs off the engine) throw on a set of rockers and a new cam,65mm throttle body, headers and you will have a stout 3.4 that will give a Lt1 a run for it's money.
If you are determined on a non Natural Aspirated Motor, You would have a much easier time Turbocharging it, Possibly even an STS turbo system ( Which I just emailed them asking the price, possibility, and expected increase in horsepower) they said an LS1 kit would work
since it has forged internals they said it can get between 70- 120 more horsepower for 3995 20% discount if two people buy them 28% discount for orders of 4

thats between 240 hp and 300 horsepower off of a 3.4 add a 3400 swap and you may have 325-340 hp!!

Not every supercharger it mounted on the top of the engine... Centrifugals mount in front of the engine.

Yes I'm aware of that, But As far as i know there is no Centrifugals for the 3.4L that are still made. I saw a centrifugal kit one time for the 3.4 and that's the only time ive ever seen it. What I was saying is that Turbo is much more efficient that a supercharger, the supercharger pulley takes about 15 hp whereas a turbo uses "free air" by utilizing the exhaust gases that typically would be 'wasted' on the contarary turbo lag would be one downfall where in worst case scenario, the driver continues to give it more gas during lag and the turbo spools up suddenly catches and as rear wheel drives tend to do in rain and snow, the back end whips around (which is why most turbo cars are AWD)

I have worked on these engines for a LONG time... They can be modded, but they are no wheres NEAR strong enough to support any form of a mod for a long time... You'd be better off swapping into a 3.8, they can hold a **** load of power and still be VERY reliable, I have a GTP with 200,000kms on it, and it has 304.8 WHP and I only do normal maintenince on it. You CAN supercharge any motor you want too, but weather or not its a good idea or not is another question. 94camaroSFI has some great ideas on how to get some power out of the car, but I promise you, its not worth the money as it WILL grenade on you and it was all for nothing...for the money, do an LS1 swap or like stated a 3.8 swap... If you want to keep that engine, then do mild mods.
