Default Raised White Letters

Greetings, Has anyone had sucess whitening the letters on their BFG Radial T/As. Although mine have been garaged they've turned light brown. Thanks in advance!

welcome to camaro forums

you can use a white paint pen to do it, but you will have to re-apply it as rubber is soft and porous so as the sidewall flexes, it will crack the paint

You can also scrub them with "Wesley's Bleche White" if you can find the original from the 60's. I used it back then on my raised white letter tires on all my rides. I saw it on Ebay.

I'm dreading this. I'm still riding 20 years old radial TAs and the letters are much wither then the new ones and I haven't cleaned them in 15 years.

I'm considering using white silicone on the lettering when I get new ones.
