Default Hi everyone!! Newbie here@!

So I'm new to this forum. I've been on others when I had my 4th generation camaros. I just bought my 77 camaro lt. It's my dream car. But I'm diving into new waters cuz I'm restoring it with some help. It's the rust red color right now. I'm painting it Brady wine red with gold base. I'm starting tbe prep work so I am in the process of taking out the old carpet. There's surface rust that's gotta be dealt with. I'm doing it with a wire wheel on my drill. Is there anything easier to use? And also I heard that there is a product that I wanna use to protect the rust from getting worse. Do I sound like s complete idiot or is thus true? I've ordered the carpet kit. Should be here tomorrow. Yaaay

Welcome to the club.
Congrats on the buy. Keep a log of the changes, or anything done to the Camaro.
