Default New guy

Hello. I’m picking up a ‘67 RS the day after tomorrow as a project. The car has the original rebuilt 327 and 4 speed manual. Car runs/shifts really good. The suspension feels pretty worn out, so I’m just going to replace it all to make it handle really well. Then I’ll drive it for a while and figure out what I want to do with the engine/transmission set up. I’m here because I’ve been reading and their isn’t anything someone here hasn’t done and I’m hoping to get some opinions on what to do.

Sorry no pictures yet, but it’s a white 67 RS with a 68 RS front end and spoiler and 69 black interior with headrests and 3 point seatbelts. Only rust I found anywhere on the car is under the vinyl top trim where it’s been taken off a couple times to replace the top over the years. Not much original but that’s not really important to me, because I’m planning on changing a lot on the car to build it how I want it.

thanks in advance
Brent

It’s home. I want to tear into it now but it’s too late.

I kind of have a plan but this is not my first project so I know to just study until I figure out what I want. There’s just too many brands that make the same things for these cars. There’s a new set of multi leaf springs in the trunk so I’m going to put those on now. I ordered new front springs and all new cheapish shocks so I can drive the car until I decide what I want to end up doing. I also ordered new seat foam. The upholstery is really nice but the foam is broken down.

It will be looking even better soon. I’ve been working on it every chance I get.
