Default Hi guys. 69 project

I'm buying a 69 roller.. I have alot of work ahead of me, but it should be a blast. I've wanted one since I was a kid. I've really enjoyed looking at all your projects and have gotten a better idea of what im getting into from seeing your pics and reading your threads. I appreciate this forum for giving me the opportunity to learn from your experience.

My car has a 396 with a 400 turbo tranny. I plan on replacing the rear quarterpanels since someone chopped these up for drag tires and going with a cowl induction hood... Also, I plan on doing the interior mostly spec but I may try my hand at building a custom dash and console. We'll see... I'm really excited to try.

Welcome man, if you don't mind me asking, what did you get that roller for?

Actually, change of plans.. I went to look at it and it had a homemade sunroof cut and screwed into the roof with sheetmetal screws.. (criminal) Also the tub was cut up pretty good.

anyway.. I bought the front end of this one and another body. I'll post some pics when I get it together and bring it home in a couple of weeks.

So far I'm into it 3000

plans change... it happens. I hate it when people cut a roof but I guess to them it seemed like a good idea at the time. maybe they were high at the time. look forward to seeing your pics.
