Im looking to buy a car thats easier to work on and work with than my LT1. But i dont know anything about 3rd gens. Whats your opinions?

 

Wow, nice car! I think you'll be happy with it. 350 3rd gens are missiles.

 

But what about this TPI? Im looking for something thats easier to work on than my LT1, this looksmore complicated than my LT1..

 

if u do buy this car will u be changing the wing on the back to a rear spoiler? car looks ok other then that, lots of potental

 

That Engine bay looks like dog doo doo, I hate the "gauges" and the rear wing looks stock like it never was a real IROC anyway.

TPI, from what i understand ( SOMEBODY CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG) isnt exactly the easiest to tune correctly. But, it is semi easy to work on. If your wanting ease.. might look for the 305 tbi or even a carbed 350.

 

Everything you stated were appearance, which can be fixed pretty easily

The car has a new engine and tranny, with all those neat options go for it. Good price too.

 

i only see 2 problems. that steering wheel and the gauge cluster. not very good looking IMO. The wheel can be easily fixed, but the gauges.. who knows about them. the wing is off a firebird i think. not bad looking, but not a stock look. But IMO, worth the money if you like it

 

I kind of like the guages.
